一 | (ECNS) -- From Singapore to Vancouver, Mandarin pop stars are drawing crowds abroad, underscoring China’s growing cultural reach. Jackson Wang, Zhou Shen and Silence Wang are among the artists leading the surge in overseas tours. Chinese promoter CMC Live has signed a two-year partnership with Singapore’s IMC Group Asia to expand shows internationally. IMC COO Leong Yew Soon said Chinese artists guarantee strong ticket sales in Singapore and Malaysia, while breaking into non-Chinese mainstream markets will take longer. “Audiences ask if Chinese artists are coming because they know the box office will be stronger,” he said. CMC Live CEO Hong Di pointed to Wang’s global recognition from his South Korean idol days and English language songs as keys to his success. He added that language barriers are fading as social media introduces more audiences to Chinese music. Executives expect Asia’s concert industry to keep rising as new venues open in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand, while promoters eye Western markets. (By Helen Mo & intern Xu Wenda)

二 | Vicky Kaushal recently expressed his admiration for the massive success of Aditya Dhar’s latest projects, Dhurandhar and its sequel, Dhurandhar: The Revenge. Speaking to PTI, he shared his thoughts while attending the red carpet of the inaugural International Film Festival of Delhi (IFFD) in the national capital. Vicky, who famously collaborated with Aditya Dhar for the 2019 hit Uri: The Surgical Strike, was full of praise for the director's new spy action franchise. He said, "I’m just very happy to see how Dhurandhar is working. I loved the first part, I’m yet to watch the second part. But Aditya is a great filmmaker, he’s got a great cast together, and I’m so happy that everyone is loving the film so much, and I can’t wait to catch it as soon as I go back to Mumbai.” The first part of Dhurandhar released in December 2025 and became a global sensation, earning over ₹1300 crore worldwide. It starred Ranveer Singh as an undercover Indian intelligence agent who infiltrates criminal and political networks in Karachi to dismantle a terror cell. The star-studded cast includes Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi. The sequel, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, which released on March 19, has already earned over ₹900 crore at the box office. The second film explores the rise of Ranveer’s character, Hamza Ali Mazari, while delving into his origins as Jaskirat Singh Rangi. While Vicky was happy to discuss his peers' success, he remained tight-lipped about his own upcoming project, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War. When asked for an update on the film, which also stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, Vicky politely declined to share details. He said, "Abhi toh festival ki baat karte hai. Usme abhi bhi waqt hai (Let’s talk about the festival now. There’s still time for that).” Vicky was last seen in the historical epic Chhaava (2025), where he played the Maratha ruler Sambhaji. He is currently attending the IFFD, which is screening 140 films from 47 countries across various venues in Delhi. Also Read: Photos: Vicky Kaushal Clicked at The Airport in a Sleek All-black Look。
