China expands community meal services for seniors nationwide_我的网站

一 |     (ECNS) -- China is expanding meal services for older people, with 82,000 service sites nationwide now providing more than 4 million meals to seniors every day, according to the Ministry of Civil Affairs.     The services are provided by a wide range of organizations, including elderly care providers, businesses and community groups, forming an increasingly diverse service network.        Authorities have also introduced supportive measures, including tax and fee reductions and preferential utility rates, to help ensure the long-term sustainability of the services.    Digital technologies are being used to make the services more convenient. Online ordering, community delivery and cashless payment are improving the dining experience, while digital monitoring systems are helping strengthen food safety.    In urban areas, meal services will be incorporated into 15-minute community life circles and increasingly operated through chain-based models.    In rural areas, local authorities will explore neighbor-to-neighbor meal sharing and other mutual-aid arrangements to help keep costs down.    The ministry is also developing policies to encourage greater participation from businesses and social organizations, including catering chains, property management companies and state-owned enterprises.    (By Helen Mo & intern Liu Shuangjing)                    。    (ECNS) -- Chinese commercial space company GalaxySpace on Tuesday completed the development, launch, and on-orbit delivery of a complete satellite for Thailand's Geo-Informatics and Space Technology Development Agency (GISTDA). It marks the first time that a Chinese commercial space company has exported a complete satellite to a Southeast Asian country.    At 11:21 am on Tuesday, a Long March-6C carrier rocket lifted off from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in North China's Shanxi Province, successfully sending seven satellites into their preset orbits. Among them, three of the satellites were developed by GalaxySpace, including the Lingzhi-09 Thailand CubeSat.    The Lingzhi-09 Thailand CubeSat satellite is designed to collect remote sensing data for Thailand’s land, agriculture, and ecology, while also supporting practical aerospace education at local universities.    Phee Choosri, executive chairman of GISTDA, praised the partnership as a significant step for China-Thailand space cooperation, fostering crucial exchange of aerospace knowledge.
